Welcome to The Old Field Vineyards, a very special place for your very special day. Set way back from the Main Road lays the vineyard, the great lawn and the bay. The Old Field provides the perfect setting for your day. Entering through the beautiful arches with the vineyards behind you, you will walk across the lawn towards your loved one with the sparkling bay behind him/her. Following the ceremony, guests roam the great lawn in front of the 1850s home, enjoying the view and the privacy. Following the cocktail hour, your guests will move into the reception tent on the west side of the lawn to celebrate your marriage as the moon rises over Shelter Island. What could be more perfect!
The Old Field is the only vineyard on Peconic Bay with a private beach to host your wedding.
Weddings are held outdoors between June 15th and September 15th only, and we accommodate a maximum of 140 guests. Please phone (631) 765-0004 to discuss your requirements.
Most of our weddings begin around 3:30 PM and run until 12:00 AM. Music in order to be in compliance with The Town of Southold is to be off by 10:30 PM.

Our site fee is $10,000.
Minimum purchase of 4 cases of The Old Field wines with 15% off the case price, excluding our sparkling wine. We ask that you pour our wines only.
One person in attendance from The Old Field on the day of the event at $350.00.
The Old Field supplies the venue which includes 500 feet of lawn and 600 feet of beach front, electricity and non potable water for cleaning up.
The wedding party is responsible for supplying their tent, portable toilets, caterer, band/DJ, party supplies, flowers and anything else they require for their event. We have a list of approved vendors to guide you with your choice.
All garbage removal is the responsibility of the Licensee and is typically handled, at your request, by the caterer.
Certificates of insurance naming a) The Old Field Vineyards and (b) Christian F. Baiz and Rosamond Phelps Baiz as additional insured are required from the Licensees and all vendors coming on the property for $1,000,000.00, $2,000,000.00 in the aggregate.
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of your site fee is due at the contract signing. The other half is due thirty days prior to the event, accompanied with a $1500.00 Security Deposit.
