SUMMER TASTING HOURS

THURSDAY THRU SUNDAY (11 am to 5 pm)

Join us for a tasting, glass or bottle on our majestic grounds! Outside food is always welcome at one of our picnic tables but not indoors (unless you are a wine club member). We do not take reservations so come when you want. On busy days we may limit time to 90 minutes. No groups over 8 please. No pets. We have chickens roaming the grounds.

We are deeply saddened to tell you that Chris Baiz, a founder of the North Fork wine industry and our amazing father/ Husband/ Right hand man, died after a short illness on February 6, 2025.  Chris grew up spending summers on The Old Field property, which at the time belonged to his grandparents. From young adulthood, Chris dreamed of owning the farm and starting a vineyard on it.  In 1996 his dream came true and along with Ros, Perry, and Ryan we are able to make delicious wine out of our extraordinary land that has been famed for over 700 years. Friends and patrons of the OFV would see Chris riding a mower or tractor and enjoyed chatting with him in the tasting room.  He also managed the financial aspects of the business. All of us at the OFV will miss him dearly. His obituary in The Suffolk Times can be found here.
